Leaving home to reach the destination
Painful to say Bye to the loved one
Gaze into his eyes..the echo is on…

Dawn to dusk, the day is gone!
Myriad tasks yet to be done
I hear the same reverberation

Met a bosom pal, unending chat is on
Hours turn into minutes, what’s goin’ on
We wind up.. the very tune yet again

Special occasion or daily mundane
Like seeing off children after vacation, Walk in the garden or deep meditation
Same song plays on and on…

Not able to fathom and reason
Is this involvement or passion?
Difficult to uproot and be gone
The ringing is going on and on

An intense feeling not exactly pain
Is this pleasure?, I can’t undermine
Can’t let go the moment that was mine
